Chino Valley New Home Communities
The town, incorporated in 1970, consists of approximately 11,000 residents and is comprised of 63.4 square miles of land. Chino is so-called because it is the Spanish name for the curly grama grass that grows wild in the area. Those who call Chino Valley home appreciate having access to Chino Valley Aquatic Center and several family parks, such as Center Street Park, Horseshoe Pit Memory Park, and Community Center Park.
For a nice evening out, there are numerous Mexican fare restaurants to eat at, including Arturo Mexican Restaurant, Casa Grande, and Alfonso’s Mexican Food. For a breakfast second to none, check out Gabby’s Kitchen, which as a very impressive 4.7 out of five stars on Google+. With Prescott so close, residents can head over and check out a movie, visit a museum, spend the day shopping, or go sightseeing at a number of historical locations.
Local events include fourth of July fireworks, children’s story time at the local library, and senior activities, where the center offers special meals, games, grief support, and a walking club. This close-knit community is a wonderful place to live in, which is why several builders are breaking ground here.
